Air Dry Clay Wind Musical Instrument

Our OcKarina® is an air dried clay flute composed of:

Clay Body: Hollowed Round Shape

4 finger (Musical Notes) holes that combined would produce all the musical notes known (do, re, mi fa, sol, la ti) in different pitches according to the size of the body.

Air intake (to reproduce basic sound) in the form of a carved tunnel and a wood bridge.

My OcKarinas are made different than the common Ocarina or so called Sweet Potato Ocarina.

I have integrated the Native American Flute Concept in these OcKarinas to create a unique and very special Clay Flute.

Using a wood bridge to keep the moisture out, a long chamber allows the air to travel to the sound hole and into the body of the OcKarina making the sound sweeter than the standard Ocarina.
